INVENTORY SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Clerk plays a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly by working hands-on with the Hazelett Strip Casting Corporation (HSCC) ERP system. In this role, you’ll help ensure materials and products are accurate, accounted for, and exactly where they need to be across the company.
Day to day, you’ll receive and inventory incoming items, conduct physical counts, pick and pack orders, ship sales orders, and crate casters, along with supporting other essential warehouse and logistics tasks. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Maintain accurate inventory through physical counts, system transactions, and discrepancy investigation
Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders
Pick, pack, and ship customer sales orders
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with Purchasing and Inside Sales
Load and unload trucks using a forklift or overhead crane
Support warehouse operations, including crating, material inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Support crate building station responsibilities as assigned.
Perform logistics functions for incoming and outgoing goods to and from our supply base as assigned.
Requirements
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Strong math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations to investigate. discrepancies and maintain accurate inventory records.
Physical capability to manually lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Heavier items can require the assistance of specific lifting device.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheet programs
Experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, or other lifting device. The ability and willingness to obtain certification is required.
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including prolonged standing and frequent bending or stooping.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Duties are performed in a manufacturing shop environment that can be noisy and moderately dusty. The work pace is quick and steady. Safety glasses, safety shoes, and other required protective equipment must be worn on the shop floor.
SALARY DESCRIPTION
$22.08 – $29.87
