FINISHING TECHNICIAN OPERATOR, PART-TIME
As the Finishing Technician Operator is a part-time, entry-level role that plays an important part in the production of Hazelett strip casters. This position is responsible for supporting the final stages of the manufacturing process by ensuring products are accurately finished, carefully packaged, and prepared for shipment in accordance with our high standards. Success in this role requires strong manual dexterity, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule: Part-time position, Monday - Thursday, working flexible hours - mid morning to early afternoons.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Perform final quality checks on products, including coating, cleaning, and assembling, to ensure compliance with production specifications and quality standards.
Package finished products carefully and efficiently using proper materials and techniques to prevent damage during storage or transit.
Label products accurately with serial numbers, handling labels, and other required documentation.
Assist with organizing and maintaining packaging supplies and finished goods inventory
Inspect, identify and report any product defects or issues to the Team Leader.
Prepare packages for shipment, including sorting, palletizing, staging, and verifying shipping documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Work cooperatively with colleagues and management to meet production goals and ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role is preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment operation.

The hourly pay range for this part-time position is $21.50 - $27.00. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
