What You Will Do:
As a Fabricator/Welder you are responsible for fitting and welding various structural metals for production of strip-casting machines while using MIG and/or TIG processes. The range of projects is typical of a custom welding team. You will work with engineering blueprints, cutting metals and maintain dimensional tolerance.
Shift Schedule(s):
1st Shift is open to flexibility: You can either work 4x10 or 5x8. Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday, hours are 6:30am – 5:00pm for coverage.
2nd Shift Monday – Thursday, 4:48pm-2:48am
3rd Shift Monday – Thursday, 8:42 pm-6:42am
The hourly pay range for this full-time position is $23.70-$32.21 Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
What You Will Bring:
Technical welding education or equivalent training. Experience in manufacturing and welding structural metals using MIG, TIG and/or Stick.
Required welding knowledge and skills in the following:
· Steel, stainless steel, aluminum
· MIG, TIG, Stick
· Print interpretation, GD&T and shop math
· Plasma/Burning table
· Overhead cranes and rigging
· Identify, measure and cutting materials to specifications
