EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Hazelett designs, engineers, and manufactures the Hazelett® Twin-Belt Caster and is recognized worldwide for our leading metals processing technology. The materials produced on our casting machines are used in many applications such as automotive structures, aluminum cookware, street signs, automotive batteries, and copper wire.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As the Executive Assistant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment supporting the Executive Team as well as many other departments throughout the company. In this position, you will need to be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, and enjoy applying your skills to manage multiple tasks, with ever-changing priorities, to successfully meet deadlines. If you are a friendly, energetic, highly organized individual who pays close attention to detail, has the desire to learn new things, and has a passion for helping others in an office setting, we would like to speak with you.
Prepare, review, and/or edit various reports, letters, presentations, etc.
Work closely with Executive and Management Teams to prepare and edit legal and commercial documents.
Assist with travel arrangements (flight/hotel/rental car) including obtaining travel documents (passports/visas).
Identify and implement cost-saving methods.
Develop travel cost estimates.
Audit detailed travel expense reports.
Manage/create intracompany social media and employee communication postings.
Assist in the marketing efforts to support sales and human resources
Plan and organize company events.
Manage electronic calendars and e-mail.
Greet and assist visitors, assist in hosting catered events/meetings.
Answer and direct incoming calls.
Process and distribute incoming mail.
Various other administrative tasks as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
Associate’s degree in related field or the equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint).
Proficient in Canva is preferred.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to operate with a high degree of independence and set priorities with little direction.
WHAT WE OFFER:
The salary range for this full-time position is $55,000 - $70,000. Your salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
