HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT, TEMPORARY
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR team. This temporary role is key to keeping our daily operations running smoothly from May through October. You’ll work closely with the HR Manager and administrative staff to help ensure a positive employee experience and support the mission of the organization.
In this role, you'll maintain and update employee records, organize HR documents, and coordinate onboarding for new team members. You'll also track employee leave, assist with benefit enrollment, and help post internal communications.
You’ll provide backup support to our Recruiting Specialist by screening applications, coordinating interviews, posting job openings, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process. You'll also assist with onboarding paperwork and coordinate pre-employment screenings.
Your day-to-day will include responding to employee questions about HR policies, updating orientation materials, tracking performance reviews, and helping organize employee recognition activities. You'll also support training logistics, manage our manufacturing uniform program, and handle confidential information with care.

What you will need:
A high school diploma and a minimum of two years of relevant human resources experience.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity at all times.
Strong work ethic and regular attendance.
Excellent follow-through on all assignments.
Able to resolve benefit-related issues independently and with sound judgment.
Proficiency in computer use, internet navigation, and database management.
High initiative, integrity, strong communication, and analytical skills.
Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Able and willing to be available to meet second and third shift employees, as needed.
