CRATER/PACKER PART-TIME BELT SHOP
As the Crater/Packer within our belt shop, you will construct wooden crates to efficiently and successfully ship finished products to our customers. This is an hourly position, and the weekly schedule will be determined according to business needs.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8-hour shifts for 25 hours a week. Hourly wage range: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Build various wooden crates for shipment and protective packaging of finished products
· Load crates with forklift or overhead crane, frequently with the assistance of other shop personnel.
· Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to meet shipping requirements.
· Communicate with the Belt shop team to coordinate priority
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Good communication skills for asking questions and presenting information to others.
· Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
· Demonstrate safe building construction skills, similar to a house framer, using saws, pneumatic nail guns and staplers.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds.
· Attention to details and numbers for accuracy
