Hazelett Strip-Casting Corporation designs, manufactures, installs, and services twin-belt continuous casting machines for the world's metals industries. Hazelett is a third generation family-owned company, dedicated exclusively to belt casting technology.

The company occupies 85,000 square feet of office and manufacturing space on the shores of Lake Champlain in Colchester, Vermont, U.S.A. Its 145 employees are engaged in research, engineering, design, and manufacture of new casters and spare parts for over 60 customers in 26 countries. The company's engineering and manufacturing resources are available 24 hours a day to respond to customer needs.

Hazelett is an equipment manufacturer, not a metals producer. Its twin-belt type continuous strip and bar metal casting machines are installed in customers' plants in combination with other processing equipment such as furnaces and rolling mills. Most of Hazelett’s customers produce semi-fabricated products such as aluminum sheet and copper rod in these plants.

The company is fully integrated with complete in-house engineering, research and development, and manufacturing, as well as process knowledge associated with the use of its continuous casting machines.
