The Contilanod process is a state-of-the-art system for producing the highest quality copper anode. Anode copper is continuously cast and sheared into individual anodes, which are cooled and stacked automatically before transfer to the tankhouse. Contilanod plants are capable of production rates up to 100 tonnes per hour.

Precision hanger lugs are cast in the bronze side dam blocks as an integral part of the anode body.
